Learn about the finer points of the marine electronics system, including and intense deep study of Marine data networks old, new and proposed, radio systems, digital switching, engine interfacing, wiring navigation systems, radar, AIS, depth, speed, log, CCTV and much more! You will learn how to harmoniously interface complex systems with considerations for safety, reliability, and conformity with international regulations and standards established by ISO, ABYC, and NMEA.

Marine Electrical Technician MET 2

Develop your knowledge from the MET 1 foundation and build skills in more complex electrical systems such as solar power, inverters, multiple charging sources, galvanic corrosion, shoretower systems, generators and much more! This course is available as an upgrade from MET 1 or as part of the MET 2 and MET 3 packages.
